Android 13, Top 13 features in new updates
Discuss major points that Android providing new Android 13 version
Hello friends, as well all enjoying android OS as so much past year.
also, possibility to continue this in the future, like you may behave Android 10, android 11, or android 12 on your Mobile and so many devices.
Android 13 anywhere instead it’s called Tiramisu (it’s a coffee-flavored Italian dessert). here as you can see so maybe google is just going back to desert names or maybe it’s just an internal name.
We all noticed every new update mainly in the last some years Android is focused on security, privacy with lots of new features.
Like in new updates you find out so much similar things because every company like one plus, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc because they added some custom features to our phones.
But now as all those features that I will discuss in this article, these all features you will get in your device(means it's not dependent on your device company)if you have Android 13, so it’s conformable that you will get these features.
So come to the main point, let’s discuss all the new features that Android provide us in its 13 version.
Multiple Quick toggles support
So let's start from the top, which means the top slide bar/Notification bar,
now we get some new toggles like one-hand usage, color correction also a new toggle for dedicated QR code,
as the current world, everywhere is QR code like for payment, user information, and all. so for this before the Android 13 version, you are just opening the camera or goggle lens or any other application for scanning this QR code, but now in Android 13, you have an instant shortcut to use this feature.
Runtime Notification permissions with some options
When you new apps are installed in Android 13 and activated for the first time, they may ask the user for permission to send notifications, just as they do when they ask for permission to access the camera, microphone, location, storage, contacts, phone, and calendar.
Apps can send notifications without the user’s permission up to Android 12. The user has the option to block notifications, but the program does not require their consent to send them.
so now in Android 13, you have access to set permitting to notification allow or reject.
also, you have to option to choose notification accepted type like you want any application notified in earphone or speaker, also with the volume slider that you can set notification volume.
Quick split
By using this feature you can split the application screen, I know you think that, we have already this feature past the version of android. but now it's an upgraded…
if you are using a youtube and then you are opening another app. so you have the quick split option for just one click to open both these two apps in split-screen.
Themed icons
like as you all know, our current material view. if you are set any wallpaper so after that our phone background color set as matched with that, but not as all application icons.
So in Android 13 if you are set any theme or wallpaper in your phone, application icons and all other icons also set his background as matched with your theme color.
Easy wallpaper picker
As we already discussed before regarding wallpaper and theme we all are used to set wallpaper according to our preference,
we are set wallpaper in after a week or maybe changed after a month, we have a set of preferences in the gallery where we set it anyone wallpaper in our screen. but we don’t have set any set of collection that we can set wallpaper according to day time or any particular time.
So in Android 13, you have a set collection of wallpaper where you can put some wallpaper and also set time according to your choice(means which wallpaper you want to show which time).
Modify Guest mode
we already have Guest mode in our Android 12 devices, whenever you let someone else use your phone and limit what they have access.
but in this new Android 13 version you have sort of option to set only those feature enable that you want your guest member will access.
It means like if you don't want that your guest will access Instagram app in your app, so simply in this Android 13 OS device you can disable this application for Guest.so that your guest can’t able to see this app in your phone.
Secure Gallery(images and videos)options
This is one of the most rated feature of Android 13 version. this feature define like,
Android’s document picker allows you to share documents with an individual app, without having to give the app permission to see every file on your phone. Now, the first developer build of Android 13 extends this capability to the photo picker. The new photo picker API will give you access to shared photos and videos without asking for permission to see all the media files on your device.
However, Google says that this feature will not be limited to Android 13 devices alone. The company plans to roll out the new photo picker API to users running Android 11 and newer via Google Play system updates. All Android devices will be able to access it via the MediaProvider module update, with the exception of Android Go devices.
Silent option(it literally means to set all things in the phone to silent)
By Using this feature you can disable all sound and vibration to you phone means If you switch to Silent mode on Android 13, all haptics (including those for interactions) are disabled.
there aren’t any vibrations when typing or when entering a pin on the lock screen. Or in any other apps where touches might usually provide haptic feedback.
its quit impressive because various times we needed this feature in meeting or family gathering.
Nearby wifi without open GPS enables
This feature enables apps to discover and connect to nearby devices over Wi-Fi without needing location permission. Previously, the location permission requirements were a challenge for apps that needed to connect to nearby Wi-Fi devices but didn’t actually need the device location. Apps targeting Android 13 will be now able to request the NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES permission
You can set different languages for your different apps.
Android 13 is the ability for users to customize the phone’s language usage. Up before Android 12, users could select a language in the Settings app’s ‘language and input section.’ Some apps also let you change the language within them, but this is entirely up to the developer, and not every program does so.
Beginning with Android 13, the feature may be controlled by the user, who will be able to change the language of a specific app from the app information screen. It implies that you may be able to select an app that works in a language other than the one used throughout your Android smartphone.
Clocks in lock screen
In Android 13, a new setting has been added in lock screen settings to toggle the layout of the clock on the lock screen.
In Android 12 currently, the lock screen clock is displayed in the double line layout that you see in the first screenshot above, but only when there are no notifications. When notifications arrive, the layout switches to a single line layout, and reverts back when notifications are cleared. The new setting allows users to retain the single-line layout persistently, something that users had been requesting for a while.
Various components are directly updated by google play
In our current Android version if any system dependent feature of google need to some any update, then this will we get from in software update, but in this Android 13 version if we google will provide any update regarding any feature, then this will able to directly update by google play store,we don’t needed to wait for software update.
Bluetooth LE
Android 13 may include Bluetooth LE Audio compatibility. Bluetooth LE Audio is the next generation of Bluetooth audio, which not only saves power over Bluetooth audio streaming but also opens up new applications for Bluetooth devices like hearing aids and more. means in Android 13 its inhance and make better as compare to before.
So these 13 feature, that I think we should know about it before getting this newer version update, its possibility to get this new update version firstly to Google Nexus device then,to other let’s see i am so excited about some of those things, please comment which feature you liked in this new Android 13 version.
